What we Do

Our primary objective is to help clients anticipate and prevent problems which could result in litigation, disengaged employees or Government contract debarment, termination, or suspension. Through extensive preventive counseling, compliance audits and employee training, we assist clients in proactive policy development and decision-making so they can avoid the costly defense of complaints and the corresponding unproductive diversion of management time and energy involved with legal proceedings.

Guided by an objective to provide clients with cost-effective solutions that uniquely align with their Organization’s mission, vision and values and our desire to become an extended member of the client’s team and valued partner-we work side-by-side with client team members to learn as much as possible about the client’s workplace culture and business operations so we can responsively assist in developing and implementing compliance systems, policies, procedures and custom-designed training that will mitigate risk and improve performance.

By routinely conducting on-site compliance and organizational-wellness audits and in-person employee and Board of Director training, we help clients to create and maintain a positive workplace culture that is under-girded by fairness, open and honest communication and mutual trust and respect between managers and employees. Maintaining an inclusive and diverse environment that is easy and pleasant to work in requires continuous improvement and is essential to strengthening employee engagement and increased productivity.

Jean Robinson, Esq.

Chief Executive Officer

Jean Robinson is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of JR Solutions LLC. Ms. Robinson is also a human resources consultant, labor and employment attorney, risks management & workforce development specialist and corporate trainer.

Having spent the majority of her professional career helping clients to “get out of legal trouble,” Ms. Robinson decided to shift gears and start a company that would be focused on helping clients before they become entrenched in legal problems and non-compliance. She has extensive training, legal, financial, and Risks management experience and has worked in both the private and public sector.

Ms. Robinson served for more than 20 years as Vice President and General Counsel for the largest workforce development provider of job training programs and career services in the United States and Canada. 

While serving as Vice President and General Counsel of several multi-billion- dollar corporations that advocate for the civil rights and full employment of persons with disabilities, women, minorities and others persons with disadvantaging conditions; Ms. Robinson honed her skills as a specialist in human capital optimization, labor and employment law, risks management, workforce development, corporate governance DQG government contracting and became a nationally renowned workforce and rehabilitation expert specializing in creating employment strategies for vulnerable and underrepresented populations. Ms. Robinson has extensive experience in developing apprenticeship and on-the-job training programs and designing workplace strategies to upskill and reskill underemployed workers.

In 2013, Ms. Robinson was voted Top General Counsel and received the nationally acclaimed First Chair Award. This award is a nationwide peer-nominated award given to General Counsels who have a consistent record of high achievement throughout their career and who have through their hard work and innovation demonstrated excellent leadership in their community, in addition to having made significant contributions to the legal profession.

Ms. Robinson also previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the United Methodist Development Investment Fund in New York City, Chief Financial Officer of the General Board of Church and Society in Washington, DC and as a member of the Jackson Lewis Labor and Employment Law Firm. As CEO of JR Solutions, Ms. Robinson is responsible for providing strategic, financial and operational leadership for the company.


Jean Johnson, Esq.

Consultant and Trainer

Jean Johnson is an attorney, consultant and trainer with a Master of Laws Degree in Energy, Environmental and Natural Resources, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and in Adult Learning Principles.

Jean served as in-house counsel for Exxon for nearly a decade where she worked in commercial litigation and handled regulatory compliance and enforcement cases across the United States.

Jean also founded an award-winning training company, Risk Mitigation Worldwide (formerly Legal Watch) which earned numerous awards, including the Shell Oil Company Supplier of the Year, CenterPoint Energy’s Minority Supplier of the Year, Halliburton’s BEST Supplier, Edison Institute’s Supplier of the Year, Women Business Enterprise Supplier of the Year and the Minority Business Council Supplier of the Year. 

Jean is also one of Women Business Enterprise National Council’s (WBENC) 30 Women of Distinction, and has served on the National Women’s Business Council, and numerous other National boards.
